Bar-J is a great place for the first time deer hunter.  Located in one of Arkansas' most populated deer zones, we have an abundance of deer to draw from.  We manage our herd  along with our cattle and horses.  Feeding plots are planted each year to fatten and keep them in top condition.

 If you can sit still, whisper softly and stay awake you have a 99.9% chance of seeing deer while on one of our stands.  Your odds of killing one depend on your ability to shoot and the good Lord!

We love to see young hunters get their first kill and to see a father/son/daughter do it together is a truly memorable event.  We specialize in making your hunt a memory your son or daughter will never forget. 

However, if your looking for a rugged outdoor experience, you will be disappointed in the Bar-J.  We offer fully heated, fully enclosed stands, with transportation and a guide to help you with the transport and processing of your kill. 

We provide snacks, bottled water, and coffee for your convenience.  The lodge is very comfortable with good southern style food served family style.

A 30% deposit is required for booking a reservation.  The deposit is non-refundable, however,it may go toward another reservation for up to two years.
